Rose Sees Red (Scholastic) and Grandma's Gloves (Candlewick) A launch party for two new books by this great local author!  Rose Sees Red is Cecil Castellucci's fourth young adult novel, following Beige, Queen of Cool, and Boy Proof.  Grandma's Gloves is her first children's picture book.  She is also the author of the graphic novels The Plain Janes and Janes in Love, and the editor of the anthology Geektastic. Some of Cecil's former classmates from La Guardia High School of the Performing Arts will participate in the reading of Rose Sees Red, providing voices for the characters in dialogue!
